Ramina’s parents are Michel or Mikkel Rasmussen, and Ingeborg Sorensdatter both of Denmark.

After crossing the ocean to America, they joined the Christian Christiansen Company to come west to the Salt Lake Valley, the company left,June 15.

The company arrived in Salt Lake City on September 13.

In researching Rasmina, the only information I could find on her is that she died at Salt Creek by Nephi, Juab, Utah. No information was found as to why she passed away nor where she is buried.

As indicated in Peter Rasmussen's reminiscence, three of the children came across the plains in 1857. Rasmus died enroute to Utah. Rasmina also died upon the journey's end at Salt Creek. Bertha Marie was the only one who survived the journey

11 year old Rasmina made the journey to Utah, only to have passed away.
