Peter Theodore Toolson is the son of Niels Toolson and Hannah Persdottor, both of Denmark. Niels, Hannah and their son, Peter, sailed to America on the ship, “Emerald Isle.” After their arrival, they traveled to Nebraska and joined the John G. Holman Company. Along with other members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Company departed on September 1, 1868, arriving in Salt Lake City on September 25, 1868.
Ten days after their arrival, Peter passed away. The cause of death and burial is unknown.
