Mary Ann parents are William Jackson Moss and Ann McClouskey, both born in England.
After joining the church in January 1851, they boarded the ship “Hudson” in 1864.
After arriving in America, they traveled to Nebraska and joined the William Hyde Company. The company left Nebraska on 9 August 1864.
After arriving in Salt Lake City on 26 October 1864, they took a home and lived between South Temple and 1st South. They were in the 11th Ward.
Mary Ann married 1st Charles William Symons, then she married Jonathan Hartshorn.
Mary Ann died in 1892 in Utah at the age of 46. It is not known where she is buried.
