Frank Loader Rozsa is the son of John Eugene Rozsa from Hungary and Patience Loader from England. In 1858, John immigrated to America and joined the army. He traveled to Utah with Johnston's Army and joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He then married Patience Loader.
During the Civil War, John and his family journeyed to the eastern United States where he served as a clerk in the War Department. While in Washington DC, Patience had a son whom they named Frank Loader Rozsa. After the war, John's health began to fail, so they decided to return to Utah. In 1866, they joined an “unknown company” traveling back to journey to the Salt Lake Valley. In May 1866, in Kearney, Nebraska, John passed away from lung disease.
Patience and her children arrived in Salt Lake and settled in Pleasant Grove. It was in Pleasant Grove that 4-year-old Frank passed away of unknown causes and is buried in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
