Alice’s parents were Samuel Cockle and Sarah Barber, both from England. Both parents passed away.

Alice was baptized into the church in 1852, one of the jobs that Alice had was making bonnets. Since her parents had passed away, she wanted to come with the other Saints to America. She connected with the William and Hannah Webster family, sailed over the ocean and came to America.

They joined the Milo Andrus Company in 1855 and came west.

When the company was in Wyoming, Alice came down with cholera and passed away on August 18th.

18 year old Alice was laid to rest at Rock Creek in Wyoming.
