Death:  June 18th, 1850   |   6 years old   |   on the Mormon Trail in Iowa

Adelaide was born to Levi Harlow Redfield and Alpha Luranda Foster, who were both from Connecticut. They were married in Ohio in 1835 and were blessed with 10 children. Adelaide was their fifth child, following three girls and one boy.

The Redfield Family joined the Aaron Johnson Sr. Company to settle in the Salt Lake Valley. Shortly after their departure June 8, 1850, cholera struck the company. Ten days after leaving Iowa, 6-year-old Adelaide passed away and was buried along the Mormon Trail West.
